Remember when you were a child?
Those precious times we spent
walking together hand in hand?
How time just came and went.
Conversations we once shared -
I remember every one.
Tears that fell, and the joy of your laughter
even silly things you had done.
I remember a day you tested
the strength of our loving bond.
You tried to walk on water,
and fell deep into a pond.
How I laughed at seeing your anger,
and the frustration that you felt,
thinking your faith was steadfast,
as you sank and called for help.
I cherish the faith of children.
They believe in what they can't see.
Never asking for proof, or for a sign
before they believe in Me.
Many search for signs and wonders.
Gone are the days of their youth.
Blessed is he who has not seen,
but believes upon the truth.
Wake up my children, return to your youth.
In Me be reconciled.
Return to the days of your innocence.
Have faith as a little child.
