Grandmaw, Mom and Me

by Jennifer Connors

I've got a Grandmaw up in heaven
She's waitin' there for me
She's standin' by the river,
Lookin' for my Mom and me.

Someday soon she'll se us,
walkin' on the streets of gold.
No more tears to shed,
and never to grow old.

We'll be there together,
happy as we can be,
surrounded by all our loved ones,
praisin' God for eternity.

It won't be much longer,
then we will fly away.
Just a few more days now,
until that rapture day.

You can come and be with us.
Just give your heart away.
He is sure to cleanse you,
and make you ready for that day.

Then we'll all be there together.
By the river, that's where we'll be.
All the ones we've always loved,
with my Grandmaw, Mom and me.

So come on to the river.
It's you we want to see.
We'll be standin' side by side,
my Grandmaw, Mom and me.
