Before Another Life is Taken

Our children are dying each year in their schools,
leaving parents torn and dismayed.
What has happened to the children, Lord?
Why everyday are the laws disobeyed?

Lord, where were You at Columbine,
when children died and their blood was in pools?
"Child, the cause behind this terrible crime
is that I'm no longer allowed in their schools.

Since My Commandments have been removed
moral depravity has taken their place.
Children have no consciences, and
no concept of the consequences they face.

Sex, violence, drugs, and alcohol
are the problems youth face today.
If you don't join the group, you're outcast.
Persecution is the price you pay."

Lord, touch our youth and teach them
the reasons behind the cause.
The problems they face each day in school
are because the others don't know Your Laws.

Give them boldness to stand their ground,
and to never hide in shame.
Teach them that no matter the cost
They must never forsake your Name.

The government must be made aware
Of how they've failed our young.
When God was removed from our schools
His place was taken by the gun.

"Before you finish praying, Child,
there is something else you must know.
The government is not the only one to blame
for allowing these problems to grow.

Parents, Hollywood and liberal religion
all have failed to do their parts.
To train up the child in the way he should go
so he never would depart."

Please turn our public schools around,
And forgive us of all we've forsaken.
Bring us all back to Your truths dear Lord,
Before another life is taken.
